The free sheet music reader for your music stand
Like forScore — but free, on Android too, and with more than 120,000 scores already inside. Setlists, annotations, a metronome, Bluetooth page-turn pedals and an offline library, so your music is there wherever you play.
Until then, every score is on the web: browse the library
Everything a performer needs, nothing they don't
A reader first: the page is the whole screen, and the tools stay out of the way until you reach for them.
Also in the app
The smaller things that make it your binder.
120,000+ scores built in
The ScoreSynth archive and community — search by title, composer or instrument.
Two pages on a tablet
Turn the tablet sideways and it shows a spread, like the open book on your stand.
Jumps for repeats
Tap a segno, coda, D.S. or D.C. mid-piece and land where it points, with the way back offered.
Margins and paper
Crop wide scanned margins; white, warm or dark paper for the light you play in.
Contents and bookmarks
Jump to a movement from the edition's own contents, or bookmark where each part begins.
Practice time
The time a score is open, per day and per piece — kept on your device only.
Your own PDFs
Open a PDF from Files, mail or a messenger with ScoreSynth, and it joins your library.
Scan printed pages
The document scanner finds the sheet, straightens it and cleans it up, several pages in a row.
Share a score
Send a link to any score, or share it in a message to someone on ScoreSynth.
Questions about the app
Yes — it is the same kind of app: a sheet music reader that replaces the paper binder on your stand, with setlists, annotations, a metronome and pedal page turns. The difference is that ScoreSynth is free, runs on Android as well as iPhone and iPad, and comes with a library of more than 120,000 scores instead of starting empty.
forScore itself runs only on iPhone, iPad and Mac. ScoreSynth is the same kind of reader for Android phones and tablets — and for iPhone and iPad too — so a group can use one app whatever devices its players have.

Yes. Add a score to Offline while you are connected, and it opens on the device without a connection from then on. Downloads wait for Wi-Fi unless you allow mobile data in Settings.
Any Bluetooth pedal that turns pages as a keyboard — AirTurn, PageFlip, Donner and others. Pair it in your device's Bluetooth settings; there is nothing to switch on in the app.
On your device, with the offline copy of the score. Marking up, jumps and bookmarks are there once a score is in Offline; any other score can be opened just to read.
Not in the app. The mobile app is a reader. Transcription, arrangement and the notation editor are on scoresynth.com.
